oh my gosh, .. this version (X) REALLY does do a lot more.  I am seeing a lot of things about "Scripts".  I've never heard of them, so I went looking for answers.  There are tutes on them, but nothing telling me what they are, and what you use them for.

Anyone wanna help?

Thanks a lot

I know they are something like "actions" in Photoshop. They do things automatically for you. Fun to play with..:)

Put very simply, scripts are saved commands that you can use over and over.

Some are much more complex than just saving your commands as you can tell it to stop the script to allow the user to choose an option.

If you find yourself doing something on a regular basis, that would probably be a good candidate to make yourself a script.

Hope this helps a bit.

CC, if you haven't found them yet, click on View up at the top, toolbars/script. That will open another toolbar for you. There will be a drop down on the right which will show you all of the scripts that are default with the program.

Open an image and pick one from the drop down and click the "run selected script" button to the immediate right. You will see what it does.

They are fun to play with. :)

Thanks everyone for the answers.

Something tells me I'm going to be asking a lot more.  Sometimes it takes awhile for me to absorb the concept.

LOL Topsy,   I am getting sleep, BUT only because I need it!  I wouldn't if I didn't have to, that's for sure.
